Here are other fun curly brushes from my collection. Curls and swirls are my favourites! I just can’t get enough of them!

Rapid technique to eliminate “moirés”

I got a couple of techniques up my sleeve… Here’s the first one I chose to share with you

Sometime you come upon an image who has moiré, due to bad scanning or because it’s a printed image re-scanned or… whatever! Here’s some fast ways to get rid of these “lines” in your photo.

Apply a GAUSSIAN BLUR filter to a 1 pixel setting.
You can also apply the DESPECKLE filter
When you scan your image, you can reduce your moiré by placing it in a 30° angle

Hi! I wanted to give you some news about how Watch-out Design is going these days…

I am currently working on a web site project that I really like! A dance crew contacted me to revamp its web presence (they had only one page!), and I was thrilled by the new job! Their style really sticks to mine, and I love dancing too, so it’s really a pleasure to be part of their success!

You can compare their actual site with the one I’m building right now (images below) and should be up very soon. It’s in french, but you can still admire the difference, can you?

I am also working on my own website, to be more up to date with today’s designs !
With this site, I will introduce new services and products which I’ve been really eager to put out for a while now. You will be able to shop for t-shirts directly on watchoutdesign.com, purchase exclusive cliparts and choose a template for your website without being redirected. A lot of work for my tight schedule, but I’m really motivated and hope it can be up near the end of November.

My first giveaway !

I hope you’ll enjoy, because I plan to have a lot of those coming!

I scanned a whole book of printing decorations my grandfather had that was passed to me by my father. I treasure this book!
I’ll be posting a couple for you to download (just click on the image to open the high-res and then «save image as»), but some others I will vectorize by hand and will be selling for a small price, since I spent a lot of my time working on this project.

I didn’t manage to post to real full-size file yet… Getting info on that and will return to you!

New t-shirt web site

Hi there!
I’ve discovered recently a new t-shirt printing website, based in MONTREAL! Which is great, since it lowers the shipping costs for me and encourages local economy!
It works pretty much like Spreadshirt, but is maybe a little bit more user-friendly…

The best way to know, is to try it yourself!

FREE Grunge brushes

Grunge brushes are great for a dirty look or erasing parts of images without have that classic feathered look. You can make them with any textured photo by changing the contrast or just as is ! Here are some examples I have myself.
